Summertime carry options

Belly Band with a Glock Model 42.
*** wear a undershirt next to the skin with the Belly Band over the undershirt and a loose fitting light weight shirt over the Belly Band.

Second option: Desantis web pocket holster with Glock Model 42 in the front right pocket of shorts.

When I have to go outside the gates I wear cargo shorts with a Keltec P11 in each front pocket riding in DeSantis Nemesis pocket holsters. 22 rounds of good 9mm ammo or as I like to justify it ..4 J-Frames ++. Just as a side note a KT P11 weighs LOADED what my Glock26 does empty!

Hats off to you, LLB. I can't imagine walking around with the equivalent weight of two empty G-26's in my pants pockets.

There is a famous gunfighter who has at times carried an HK MP5 in a diaper bag and for insurance against prying hands a soiled diaper on top of the gun.

I was gonna say that's a load of...

...but instead I'm on my way out the door to pick up a truckload of...

I made an inside the hippack holster out of neoprene that attaches with velcro. Almost the same dimensions of my Sticky pocket holster, so I can get a good grip on the CW9's grip with the trigger covered. Not nearly as fast draw as an outside wasteband holster, but completely concealed (re: invisibility requirement in CA).

I just picked this up today in anticipation of a long trip next month.

I really like it so far and am spending some time red-gun training with it then will train with an empty M&P before I am comfortable enough to carry with a new set up.......

I really like it so far though. It is comfortable. It is easy to draw from. It stays where you put it without any clips or loops. Re-holstering is easy/safe though I would always pull the holster out to do that. It is easy to take off and put on and can go in different places IWB. And of course with an untucked loose-ish shirt it conceals well.

I wear shorts with belt loops all summer long which allow me to carry a G23 90% of the time. A thick gun belt with a Glock polymer belt slide and matching mag pouch works great under a one size larger polo shirt. The other 10% is split between a G27, G22 carried IWB when my back is not complaining, or a 4" K frame or GP-100 carried IWB.

Glock 43 in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster in the back pocket of my Levi's jean shorts or front pocket of cargo shorts. Spare mag in a velcro-flapped pouch other side behind hip. Almost completely not noticeable unless you know what you're looking for, and are standing behind me looking down in my back pocket. Normally wear a substantial belt so my shorts don't sag.

DeSantis Grip Clip for my 642 gets the majority of use. Also a Ruger LCR with a Clip Draw attached.
