Hi all,

I just found this on youtube. It is absolutely amazing looking at what happens to bullets when they hit objects such as metal, glass and ballistic gelatin.

Those bullets with the pointed bases were from RWS. They wre either the TIG (torpedo-ideal-geschoss), or TUG (torpedo-universal-geschoss), I don't remember which.

Note the extent to which the impacted material "flowers" back from the impact. The physics of bullet impact are of great interest to those who design shooting range equipment, "bulletproof" armored vehicles, and similar equipment that needs to resist or defeat projectile impact. Steel plate ain't all one might think for protection...
