Supplemental reloading data

I had adhered to that same philosophy when I could choose what I wanted to buy. The shortages have caused me to take up cast lead and there just isn't as much published date that takes cast bullets into account.
I cast and normally 95% of my shooting is done with cast bullets (30 cal. thru .44 cal.). My "bible" is Lyman's Cast Bullet Handbook for lead bullet load data, and I also have books by Joe Brennan and articles by Fryxell and Applegate, and several others (no recipes, just info). There are so many choices when shooting lead bullets besides actual powder load data (alloy, lube, size, gas check/no gas check, seating depth, retc.), that I have been shooting/experimenting with lead bullets in 5, .44 Magnums, 2, .45 ACPs, 3, 38 Special/.357 Magnums, 2, 9mm semi-autos, a 30-30 and a .223 Rem. for nearly 20 years with load data from my manuals...
