Consider a Viame silencer. I believe they are made in Finland. First you will have to exchange the standard barrel for an extended barrel with a threaded muzzle. Then, the barrel of the Glock has to tip down in the rear to unlock from the slide during the firing cycle. The additional weight on the muzzle may prevent the barrel from tipping down, requiring that the slide be manually operated before each shot.

There are many models of cans on the market who don't need all that drama to work.
SWR's Trident 9 and AAC's Evo 9 are both great cans that work with tilt action Browning type designs, including the Glock. I have both cans

Imported suppressors can only be sold to LE in the US, so you need to stick with a domestic mfg.; not a problem, there are many great suppressors out there. Both of those that sheriffoconee recommended are nice and either one will serve you well, however, I'll throw another one out there, the Gemtech Tundra.

All of these are great cans and you'll be happy with any of them.

If you're writing a story about Spec Ops, while many times suppressors come from Gemtech or whoever, sometimes they are made up by contractors that do special projects, little machine shops that you've never heard of. In years past, a limited number of things like this were done "in house", though I doubt that is the case these days.

A lot depends on whether one just wants to not go deaf shooting targets out back, eliminate muzzle flash so as to use the gun when raiding a meth lab, or wants something "sterile". Then there is the matter of whether a wet can or a dry one is desired, how many times it has to be fired, weight and size restrictions, etc.

Well, considering that silencertalk is a forum that is run by AAC, the objectivity is questionable.

You obviously do not spend time there.
Part of the culture of that forum is to not be ACC fan boys.
Let me guess, you spend some of your time at AR-15?
No other silencer forum can touch the variety and user experience
of it's members.
In any case, I actually don't care what you think about this subject.
My intention is to help the OP find information about choosing a suppressor for his specific firearm.
People who own and shoot various brands and models can provide
some helpful information.

Uh, no, I'm not even registered at ar15.com, which, IMO, is the Jerry Spring of the internet.

I checked out silencertalk a couple of years ago and what I saw was nothing but a Gemtech bashing fest. I'm not going to get into the Gemtech/AAC issue, but like many others who have been involved in NFA since the mid-'90's or earlier, I know the history. The site left a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't been back since.
