Surprising Seahawks

Not a huge football fan but do follow the Hawks a bit. With the rebuild and injuries this year I have to say I am surprised they have done as well and are in solid contention at this point for a wildcard playoff spot. The rest of the NFL should maybe take note. They really are playing well and if the defensive secondary improves watch out. Seems the team as a whole comes closer together with each game.

Yeah the Seahawks really needed that road win today.

The rest of their schedule is pretty sweet. Five games left, 4 of them are at home, 2 against the 49ers, 1 each with Cardinals, Vikings and Chiefs. They're at 6-5 now and seem to have a real shot of ending with 9 or 10 wins. They aren't going to win their Division but have a solid chance for the playoffs.

In my book Paul Allen was a winner. As a fellow man fighting cancer he fought a brave fight while being a great owner of two professional sports teams. I would love to see the Hawks make a run at the title. I call them affectionately my SeaSick Seagulls. Forever R.I.P Mr. Allen
