I just put an Apex trigger and R.A.M. a 40 Pro Series 4.25". Everything was already great, I just don't care for the hinged trigger. The Reset Assist Mechanism was because I got so used to Sig resets.

My 9c got some help from Apex, but my fs9 is stock. I can feel the difference, but both shoot about the same.

I believe I've been a firearms owner for 50 years. The M&P is the only handgun I've ever owned that hasn't been modified. Because it doesn't need any changes.

40 and 45 both have Apex trigger parts, and the 40 also has aftermarket sights for USPSA use. The 45 will eventually get different sights as well.

I was a bit surprised by the poll results. I figured it would run about 75% with mods.

That said, my M&P9c is stock. I can't see the improvement being worth the investment as my trigger feels quite good for what I use it for (EDC/off duty). I shoot it well & have gotten compliments from "Glock Guys".

My duty gun (Glock) has a Vickers Tactical mag release. Only because I had to change my grip to release the stock button & it is not BIG like a competition style.

Only other pistol with mods is a 1911 style I built for IPSC years ago & even it is tame compared to a true race gun.
