I have a question that I was hoping someone could answer. Can a recoil buffer be installed on a 4566tsw.. Also has anyone done it and did it make much difference. I installed one on my Kimber 1911 and it made it shoot much smoother. My recently purchased smith shoots great, I was just wondering if it could be improved. thanks for any input.

YES, it is possible. I have about 12 different autos of various types, and I have buffers in every one. In several cases, I made them by cutting a 1911 buffer to proper size. I don't notice them shooting any "smoother", I do it to reduce wear from frame to slide hammering.

I'll pass on debating whether they are good or evil since that is about as productive as arguing religion or politics.
