There was a poster in another thread who said some S&W knives were made by Taylor in the US. I've never seen any although some are marked S&W USA(not made in USA). Not collectable but a good vaue for the money.

Early on Taylor made some kives in the US for S&W, however nearly all Taylor knives are chinese made. Are you sure yours says "Made in USA" and not "S&W USA?" Also, be aware the there are 100s of Taylorknives that have S&W logos but are not S&W knives, as taylor made many samples and prototypes for S&W to review and choose which they wanted to order. Those they didn'torder were dumped on the market by taylor. Ed.

My S&W Shooters is marked Stewart A. Taylor and Sons on the pocket clip.

The knife blade is marked Smith & Wesson USA and the screwdriver blade marked Made in Seki - Japan.

Nice knife to have in your pocket at the range.

Two old ones doesn't say Made in USA on the knife but does on the boxes.

BK43 is right...Smith & Wesson USA doesn't mean it is MADE in the USA, Most of the Early Taylor knives were made in Japan...my opinion is that they are well made...as for the boxes? I'll have to research them further...
