SW22 Slide Lock

My new Victory has an issue with occasionally failure to lock back after last round. Both magazines do it. Wondering if any other SW22 owners have experienced this and what is the cure.

after 5-600 rounds I have not had the problem with 4 mags.

You could have a bad or misaligned part.

I use 5 magazines and over 10k rounds later I can't remember when the slide stop didn't engage.

If you are incline; try another magazine and make sure the slide stop lever is free and not binding. Could be a burr of something from the manufacturing process.

If all else fails, send it in to the S&W. They will eventually get it right.

What is considered "high velocity" ?

Varies per manufacturer - (plus/minus - more or less)

Standard - 1000 FPS (+/-50)
High Velocity - 1200 FPS (+/-50)
Hyper Velocity - 1400 FPS on up
