Got my Victory yesterday, cleaned and lubed it, and took it to the range today. Performed as follows:

CCI MINI MAG 40 rds/0 issues
CCI STINGERS 10 rds/0 issues
FEDERAL CHAMPION 10 rds/0 issues
AMER. EAGLE (FEDERAL) 30 rds/0 issues
WINCHESTER SUPER X 10 rds/0 issues
REMINGTON GOLDEN BULLET 20 rds/0 issues
WINCHESTER 222 BULK 10 rds/0 issues
FEDERAL AUTOMATCH TARGET 30 rds/0 issues

160 rounds total with 0 issues. I rotated mags every 10 rounds. Performed flawlessly. I checked the takedown screw every 50 rounds, and it never loosened. Trigger was awesome. While I was shooting more to test ammo reliability, accuracy seemed great. I shot standing, paper plate at 21 feet. When I was done, there was roughly a tennis ball sized hole in the middle of the plate.

Lovin' this pistol so far. Hope this is some helpful info.

Amen brothers. Great pistol and very accurate also. I actually sold my SW M&P22 to afford this gun, no regrets other than I don't like selling my guns. The M&P22 took forever to break in and was very ammo fussy. The Victory just worked from the first round. I didn't even have to adjust the sights, the first five rounds were in a 1.5" group at 25" from a rest. Now I know any error is mine not the gun's. I think this is a perfect .22 at a great price point. I have had no issues whatsoever with it. Also, from Altamont Grip, S&W is working with them to have wood grips for the Victory some time this summer. Altamont will also carry them on their website. If you want to get on their waiting list call Altamont and they will email you when they become available.

I have approximately 1000 rounds of CCI Mini Mags through mine with no issues.Seems like this pistol is a winner.

I'd like to try to feed mine a steady diet of Mini Mags (they seem to run cleaner than the others), but they're tough to find in stores around these parts (western PA). When I find them online, the cost of shipping usually makes the cost per round crazy high.

By the way, thank you for your service.

I had an M&P22 as well, and had the same issues...very fussy with ammo. The Victory has eaten everything so far. And I will definitely check out those wood grips. I think there will be more and more aftermarket parts for this gun in the coming months. Sounds like it's proving to be very popular.
Thank you for your service.

I fell in love at first site/sight. I think I will be buying this as a birthday present when it rolls around. I have seen prices anywhere from $330 up. What are people paying.

I have a 22A and love it although it can be temperamental. The mag release is in awful place but, I have been able to put it on paper at 100yds with a scope. I won't be selling my 22A to get it though.

I haven't bought one yet since I've been on the fence over the allen screw backing out issue. I have a M & P 22C and it was been a perfect gun right out of the box and that's with shooting 700-800 rounds per week between my wife and myself. But the range I go to is having S & W sale days over this weekend. One of the guns they are advertising is the Victory for $359.99 plus tax. That's about the lowest I have seen them in any gun store around here. So I'll be taking another look at it not that I need another 22.
