SW9VE extractor

my sons friend bought a used SW9VE the gun jams constantly I completely dissassembled it and cleaned it an it appears the extractor is the problem.has anyone else had this problem and where can I get a new extractor most gun parts dealers show they are out of stock and because he is not the original owner it is not under warrenty

Try gunpartscorp.com,I saw extractor on this site for 9ve when I was looking for one for my 40sve.They sell them for the 9, but not the 40.

I would call S&W anyway and see what they say about repairing it. Most times they don't care if one is the original owner or not and repair it for free.
