T grips

It seems we need another manufacturer of T-Grips. There seems to be a large market for them. Are there any talented tinkerers around the forum to meet this demand. I wish I had the know how. The present makers cannot keep up due to their own reasons......Just saying

Yeah i kinda wish someone would make them also. I want a set for my Model 10 but i am very impatient and dont wanna wait 8+ weeks.

I thought about manufacturing them (for a whole 5 minutes) and then asked myself how big a market can there really be? I don't have the answer, but with the current trend towards auto loaders, I would think that the demand for T grips would soon be dwindling down.

I know what you're talking about. I have them on all my K frames and can't do without them. I got my last one on ebay, but I've also bought a couple at gun shows. Good luck.

I am not saying that the revolver is dead, but the general trend these days, especially for the younger generation are auto loading pistols. To set up a shop (a considerable expense) to manufacture T-Grips, one would have to assure a steady and growing marketplace to sell their product in, not a shrinking one. For someone to enter into manufacturing this product now, would not make good business sense (IMHO).

I too have them on all my carry guns, and have dealt with Tyler's poor business practices, but the last time I ordered from them I actually ordered a few "extra" ones so I would not have to deal with them for quite a while. They are quite frustrating to do business with, but eventually you do get your order and it usually works out well in the long run. You just have to either go into it with the knowledge that it's going to take a long while, or buy your T-Grip on line from another source like GB or Ebay.

Frustrating to say the least!!!!
