T-Mobile 5G Wireless Home Internet

Whatya know...it actually works.

This is internet service for your home. The device is about 3/4 the size of a loaf of bread and stands vertically. Requires 110v power outlet.

No equipment cost. I just walked into a T-Mobile store and they gave me the receiver.

$50 a month with "no price hikes"....whatever that means.

No contract, cancel anytime but you're stuck with the remaining part of the month you paid for in advance.

Disclaimer on the contract says it's for the service address only but I know several other RV owners that take it everywhere. Though it's not guaranteed that the 5G service will be available everywhere.

The store told me they put that on there because during the roll out (which is on-going) they had people getting devices from out-of-area and trying to use them in areas where there was not enough capacity. The disclaimer allows them to kill your device if there's more in an area than they have issued.

Pretty fast.

I got tired of Comcast raising rates on me so I went the T-Mobile route last year. So far I'm happy but the power supply causes interference with my cordless phone (VOIP).

Interesting, I’m sick of Suddenlink Cable (Optimum now) also and thinking about making a change soon.
Good speeds on the screenshot, have you checked how far and wide you can get a signal around your property.

I would gladly switch, but if you look at the T Mobile coverage map, I live smack dab in the middle of a non coverage area

I switched to TMHI two years ago. Previously had Viasat satellite because cable companies wouldn’t run cable out to where I live. Was paying Viasat $280 a month; TMHI is $50. Got, on a good day, 2 Mbps download speed with Viasat, even though I had a 25 Mbps download package. With TMHI, I’m getting 100-150 Mbps download speeds. So, in real terms, can now stream HBO Max, Netflix, Prime, etc. Could not do that with Viasat. Great deal.

I've had mine since the 9th. Getting speedtest results just under 100. Best ATT DSL had been giving me was 6-9. Not 60-90, just 6-9. That and the ATT service being out since August 29th prompted me to drop ATT as an internet provider.

The only gripe I have was today it was out. Come to find out they were upgrading the fiber and equipment at the closest tower to increase capacity. Would have been nice to have been given a heads up it was going to be out.

I have Comcast , love and hate relationship.
Just checked my speed on my iPad. Getting 445 Down and 12 Up.
This is more in the love zone.
Still pissed about losing RFDTV.

The slowest of the speed tests was probably 50 feet away outside. We've had two TV's plus two phones and a computer hooked up simultaneously. That's about the most we do. Just the two of us and we aren't "gamers".

You do get a 14 day return to the store for a full refund if you don't like it. After that you have to deal with the customer service phone number.
