What kind of case do you guys prefer?

I'm leaning toward a soft case. Something that will hold multiple guns, has backpack straps, and extra pockets for pistols, ammo, and mags. Any suggestions?

I have a $40 blackhawk that has a divider and carry's 2 ARs. MOLLE attachments throughout the whole thing. Been great.

That Condor looks exactly like what I'm wanting to get. Probably go with the 42" to just allow for other rifles. Thanks!

I like soft cases so you can carry more gear in external pockets

Both. I have a tac/drag bag from Academy that's easy and quick to use, but I try to use my Pelican case when I can, especially if traveling. I live in a severe storm prone area that sees tornados and high winds throughout the year. A good friend of mine had a high end rifle with high end mods in the trunk of his car when a tornado came through the area, knocking a tree down crushing everything but his Pelican Case and rifle. Sure there's insurance, but He, like myself, have become pretty attached to my rifles and would hate to seem them destroyed or damaged. A Toyota Camry is a Toyota Camry.

Got a 42" Voodoo tactical double rifle case for Christmas. Had no idea I was getting it. It's perfect though. Holds two rifles with a divider. Multiple pockets on the outside. And a big zippered pocket to hold hold two pistols. And has the backpack straps.

Pelican makes great cases. I have them for sensitive equipment at work!

I have the same case and love it. However, fill it with two rifles, two pistols, magazines and ammo for all and it becomes heavy...quickly.

There's no better gift than the one you were gonna buy anyways. Merry Christmas everyone.

I did that for my 3gun set up thinking I's save some headache. It actually made things worse for me. I always have to get into both guns, whether I need shotgun, or rifle. And it's really heavy. Looking back, I'd just go with two soft bags.

Yep, it's amazing how much weight your gear can gain during a day of shooting. Don't weigh anything when you load it in your vehicle to head out. But when you start unloading when you get back, dang!

My gear seems to get lighter. Well maybe not my all my gear but my ammo bag sure does. Its gotta go 60+ lbs heading out and pretty light coming in.

x2. I did allot of research and also read some reviews on people who owned a couple of the big brands. Seems the consensus was for the voodoo tactical (standard) as the best constructed and best features. I ordered one ($89 on "the bay") and love it. Super well made. Securely holds two rifles and two handguns in heavily padded compartments. Plus three large storage pouch's for everything else. ( Even my targets and headset fit!) Nice feature is three carry methods. (Some don't have the shoulder strap or pack straps. Both of which are useful) SO much nicer than banging that heavy hard case around the house and truck.
