Tactical latches?

Has anyone installed a tactical latch on their 15-22? I want to install one but being as the charging handle is polymer on the S&W, I'm afraid it might bend or snap from the uneven pull on it. Do you guys know what I mean?

You do not have to worry about it damaging your rifle, because it will not fit. The latch design on the 15-22 charging handle is non-standard.

Yeah, I found this out after ordering a Badger from Midway. Anyone with an AR need one...?
