Thank you for the heads up. Since ProMag seems allergic to my money, at least I was able to pick up a couple here.

Pro mags m&p 15-22 magazines

Received my shipment recently and they are great. Easy to load just like OEM mags. Quality seems top notch. Have put through several hundred rounds with 2 of the 8 mags I ordered and have had no problems. Tactical Advantage shipped within 7-10 days of my order and everything was well packaged. Also ordered from Promag themselves and order unfortunately has been stuck in "processing" mode for over 6 weeks. Change quantities to maximize order and to minimize shipping cost with Tactical Advantage.

Ordered five of the 10 rd. magazines the other day from TA as that is all that was available. Due to be delivered on Tuesday! I figure to carry out a tabectomy on Tuesday evening to convert them to 32 rd. capacity. Then... on Friday... it's off to the range!

I have no experience ordering from ProMag. I must say TA is very efficient. My order was acknowledged within just a few minutes. The magazines were shipped the next day. I thought the cost of shipping and handling was more than normal. But I don't see it as a deal breaker. I wanted more than one magazine. I was not willing to pay scalper prices to buy one or two magazines. I will now have six magazines... which fully loaded will give me a little over 180 rounds ready to go at a moments notice. I'll sleep much better knowing I'm fully prepared to deal with a invasion of zombi squirrels!

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered 3 32 round mags from Pro-Mag yesterday and just ordered 3 more from TA. From what I have read I have a very good idea of who will ship first.

I don't think you're giving the .22LR enough credit... The 15-22 would probably be my rifle of choice in a Zombie outbreak of any kind.

Just checked--out of stock (almost as bad as ammo).
Here's a place that has 35 round mags in stock. I've got two of these. They're OK as long as you also order the load assist handle.

They are back in stock. Just ordered 2 at $18.95 a mag.

Thanks, I was waiting on the oems to get back in stock, but I figured I'll get 4 of these just in case...

Well i got an email today saying they have shipped out this morning. Not to bad. ordered on the 7th of this month. this was my first order from tactical vantage and now i am certain it will NOT be my last. quickly canceled my order right from promag. I am by no means upset with promag, but if i can get the same product from another place alot quicker i'll do it. cant wait to get them.

Just tried to order 2 of the 32 mags and they show they are in stock. Problem is there account system is not working. When I completed the order it would not let me complete the account info for payment and it also showed that no shipping carriers were found that shipped to my address. After 45 minutes I gave up trying.

Tactical Vantage

Tactical Vantage
Has M&P 15-22 32 rd Black Polymer Magazines in stock.
$18.99 not bad price.

What the ****? They want to charge 18 bucks shipping? No thanks!

Buy more than 1 mag and the S&H is reasonable. I bought five 10rd mags and S&H was only $19. I just ordered 30 of the 32rd mags and S&H was $40. Not bad once you figure the total cost per mag with S&H is around $20-22/mag

Yeah, you can average out the shipping by ordering more, but for those of us who only "need" a couple mags then the shipping hurts.

This is true. It still works out fairly reasonable considering what they are selling for on the auction sites.

They are honest people. I placed my first order with them on 2/26 for five 10rd mags and they were here on 3/5. Very easy and doesn't take nearly as long as some of the other places you can order these from. I placed another order on Monday for 32rd mags and they should be here the end of next week or the week of the 25th. Can't wait! The mag collection is growing!

I placed three separate orders with them (10 mags, 5 mags and then 8 more mags). Shipping was about the same for all three orders. So, like MaineEvent said, the shipping cost is very reasonable if you purchase multiple items. I should have just ordered 30 mags to begin with. All three orders arrived promptly, so I will definitely buy from them again. Also, I have seen these mags locally selling for $60 to $75, so the ones I got from TyticalVantage are a bargain, by comparison.

I ordered in bulk 2 different times, 1st time was 15 of the 10 round ones, then 8 of the 32 round ones... and shipping ended up being like $2 a mag both times, so not bad at all. Not to mention these magazines are freaking huge, especially when packaged in the plastic bubble like mine came.

How many mags are enough? I was wondering if they wear out and wanted to get a lifetime supply.

All mine came in the same packaging. They are HUGE! I saw a lot of people got them in plastic zip lock bags as well.

I sold my 10 rounders, as I was able to order the 32 rounders. I am in a "free state", so the 32's are better for me. I think these are nice high quality magazines and I hope those 8 and my 3 factory S&W 25 rounders will last me the life of the gun. :)

There is no such thing as too many (or enough) magazines.

And yes, they do wear out eventually. A lot depends upon how you treat them. Mags dropped on hard surfaces, whether metal or polymer, do not last as long as those that aren't. That said, for the average shooter, mag life is measured in years. If you shoot several thousand rounds a month, then they don't last as long. On polymer mags, the bulk of the wear is on the feed lips.

I have 16 for my 15-22 and was going to order another 10 when this current nonsense started.

Tried to re-order again this morning. Still showing as available. Still having problems with the account not accepting the "terms" in part 2 of the form. Replied to the account welcome email I got but haven't got a reply yet.

I know that they are sold out now, but I had the same problem that you had. After typing in all of my info, it wouldn't show shipping options (saying that shipping wasn't available for my address) nor the option 3 for payment.

What I had to do was type my info, press the blue save button, and then option 2 for shipping was available. After that, everything worked.

My first reply to your question was a little flip, so let me expound on the subject for a few minutes. How many magazines is "enough" is dependent upon two things: what type of shooting you do and how much shooting you do.

If you just occasionally plink at paper and cans and only shoot a couple of hundred rounds, then probably three or four 25-round magazines will do. You can recharge them at the bench or wherever you are shooting. However, if you are paying for range time, you are also paying for the time to recharge the magazines. If you shoot 500+ rounds at a session, you don't want to be wasting time recharging those three or four mags when you could be shooting. This is where more is better - load the magazines in the comfort of your own home where a money clock is not running.

If you are shooting in competitions, then you want enough magazines to shoot the entire course of fire without recharging - plus at least two or three extras in case of a mag malfunction. You absolutely do not have time in most competitions to recharge magazines. Same deal if you shoot 1k or more at an outing; load the magazines at home.

I hope this expanded answer is helpful.

Thanks Majorlk! I usually just do some plinking while walking in the woods. And a little hunting. I only shoot about 10 or 20 or 30 rounds on a week-end. So my supply of mags should be more than enough to last for years. But I want to start shooting a little more.

Oh my, have you seen a doctor about this condition? It is NOT terminal; you CAN be cured! :D
