Tacticool22 ? about barrel shroud and muzzle brake

hi....first post on the forum and new owner(like Wednesday) of a 15-22.....this is my first ever rifle owned (except when I was in the military, then they were like a rental and free, yea right!!)....anyway.....being located in NJ, you can imagine the joys of owning something in the AR family....

i have the non threaded barrel and would like to install a barrel shroud and muzzle break.....so here's my ?....i see how the barrel shroud attaches to the barrel but does the muzzle break screw into the end of the barrel shroud?.....i have been on the Tacticool22 website and i don't see any drawings, details, etc. of that connection.....

being a newbie in this market, more detailed info from manufacturers would be great.....if anyone can help, that would be appreciated...thanks is advance...

Its one or the other for your barrel You have to install a brake or the shroud. Never heard of a muzzle break that screwed into a shroud. I have 2 15-22s, one has the Tacticool22 barrel shroud, the other has this muzzle protector which mimics the real flash hider in looks but the cuts do not go through to the barrel so it is not a flash hider. Being in restrictive CT. these both are held on by screws and not to a threaded barrel. jsgearhead sells them on Ebay for $22.00 as in the enclosed pic.
