I've been shooting IDPA and USPSA for about 10 years now. I was a great fan of Blade-Tech holsters up until they changed their business model. Prior to that they seemed to have a holster for every application, no matter how obscure. They were the only place I could find a holster for my Steyr M9-A1. Made sense - all they needed to inventory were flat sheets of Kydex and some blue guns.
Then things changed - not sure why, but they dropped a great percentage of their offerings. No longer offered things like a holster for a S&W 625 or even a 686 IIRC. So the other day I'm perusing eBay and find a holster for a gun I don't even have (yet) that was just too good to pass up. A Kydex offering for a 3" J-frame listed as an Eclipse and the manufacturer was listed as Tagua by Blade Tech.
I associate Tagua with rather pedestrian leathergoods - how did Blade-Tech get associated with them? Anybody seen any other holsters listed this way? I'm wondering if, when Blade Tech changed their business model, they sold off their pre-formed inventory to Tagua and they are now liquidating that - but the timeline seems incongruous - it's been at least 5 years since Blade-Tech changed.
Anybody have a clue?
Adios,

PS: Hope to remedy the lack of a 3" J-frame by the weekend
