Tagua

As some else pointed out mid level, at a decent price and some interesting designs.

For an every day carry piece spend a little more. Worked in a high volume shop that had a direct account with Tagua, sold loads of them. There qc was all over the place.

I own two. One for a J-frame and another for a Glock 19. I don’t use them regularly but in the years I’ve owned them they seem to work fine, especially for the price.

Anyone have experience with Tagua leather holsters? TIA

Well, I picked up an old four-in-one for my J frame in the discount bin for $16 dollars at my LGS. Perfect fit, good retention, solid spring steel, seems quality to me for EDC.

I’ve had a couple. They were “ok”, not great but alright for the $$ . For occasional use they’ll probably be fine. If you intend to actually carry daily, spend the $$ and get a better quality rig. It’ll last longer and be more comfortable,

The local cop store in Greensboro has or had in the past a rack of Tagua holsters. I handled them to my satisfaction in the store. I purchased one and functionally it is fine. The finish and appearance leaves something to be desired.
