Take a look at my freshly refinished "Royal Blue" Colt 1991A1 Compact Clark Meltdown

This is a superb 1911. Only thing I would add if it was mine (do you want to sell? Just kidding) would be ivory grips and for this gal...i'd consider getting your initials put in the grips in solid gold. Hey, you only live once, right?

I think some honest holster wear will be entirely appropriate, and look great!

I saw this thread and clicked on it. Saw the initial photos, thought "Gee, this pistol looks familiar." Then I realized the thread's three years old. It still looks great, though, after three years. I prefer the stag grips, though...just my opinion. The black ones may feel better, but they detract from the uniqueness of the pistol.

Looks like it could be the Liquid Metal Terminator's pistol!

That is GORGEOUS! I could probably shoot a gun like that, but not carry it.
Just TOO pretty.
It is tempting to me to have S&W polish and blue my M19 which is back there now for an action job. Has anyone had a revolver finished by S&W?
And how did it turn out?

Thanks,
mitch

Are you the same mitch from the Bersa chat?

Love meltdowns! That blue job is boss. I want that holster lined in moleskin and dusted with silk dust with vapor deposited baby butt shed skin cells finishing off the liner! (No babies are harmed in this process.)
