looking on ebay today and saw some replacement takedown pins with designs on them. What size are they? also they have the mag release button cover anyone have one of these and know what size im looking for?

Pics, links? The standard pins are (.250) 1/4 inch and so are the 15-22 pins. I don't know if there is a length difference. The 15-22 lower is wider than an AR.
What is a mag release button cover? Pics, links?

Looks like you need to send them some questions. They dont have any Q&A listed.
I don't get what the spring is for with the Extended Oversized Magazine Release Button.

i did ill let you know the answer as soon as i know. as far as the mag release does it replace the one that is in the gun?

If you're giving the rifle to a 12 year old these pins and buttons seem appropriate...

It seems that you can put "extended" and "oversized" and "tactical" on any random piece of junk these days and sell it to kids to put on their rifles.

What I can't stand is how just because you don't agree with it, you can feel free to berate something. This forum is about building friendships and helping each other out, not about being rude or lacking all sense of tact. I hope a Moderator see's this and agrees with me.

"Extended" and "oversized" can mean ease of operation in general. In the case of some of us old guys who may have some arthritis or other problems, it can make a big difference. As for "tactical", nothing special about that - typical marketing in today's world. Maybe next we ought to talk about "positive attitude", "open mindedness", "different strokes for different folks", and ..........

Gentlemen. Let's stay focused on the rifle and accessories. Cheap shots at Forum members isn't necessary and makes the job of moderating more time consuming for me. We have a good group of folks here...

Thanks, phil
