Taking positive steps

It's interesting to hear what others think will happen in response to the current situation. But what positive steps can we take now . A few items for discussion.
First, join the NRA if you have not already done so. True, they may not be a perfect organization but they are our best hope and public voice.
Call and or write your elected officials in congress, let them know that you are concerned and that you vote.
Contact your representatives in the state legislatures. They are usually local and easier to contact personally, you may already know them. Ask them to sponsor and support a bill in the legislature to the effect that any reduction in you second amendment rights by the federal gov't will automatically trigger a special session of the legislature to discuss secession. Admittedly this will be better received in some states than others, but worth a try. If even a few states did this it would send a message to Washington.
