So how does this compare to the moe version that just came out? Never heard of it, anyone else?

I don't get it. What did they change? The irons? Looks like all the rest and they don't list any special features or changes from the original?
I got one of these last month for 510 OTD
Only difference is Magpul MBUS
It even had FTF,FTE and OOB but its finally on its way back here from S&W.
Serial was DTX7... and No Blue Springs but had the new mag version
Hope she shoots better when I getter her back

Yeah I didn't see anything spectacular aside of the name that made it any better than the other models out there.
I just bought mine yesterday... haven't even shot it yet. I was looking at the regular version but like the talo edition better because it had magpul pop-up sites and a threaded barrel with a flash suppresor. I think those are the only differences though. I've added a few other things to mine and am itching to get out and sight it in!

Let us know how it shoots. I am looking at the Talo edition and I am hoping S&W has worked out the bugs with this model.

How much more is the Magpul version compared to the Talon edition?
At a local gun shop, they had the Talos Edition for $509 and could order the MOE for $523.
not sure but i think all talo weapon's are just the basic weapon with accessory change's. seem's like they all may come from LIPSEY.
when i got my moe, i tried to find out the difference from the talo. i got it from davidson's and they had no idea of the difference, nor would S&W give me any info.
you would probably have to call LIPSEY to find out the difference. keep in mind they have to use the original manufacture product, and can only make cosmetic change's.
knowing this i just looked at the photo's of each and compared the accessories.
i waited for the MOE because i thought it would have all the bug's worked out and i wouldn't have to send it back. it did. when i got mine last month the sub total from davidson's was $85 less. the price has gone up every where since then? at the time the MOE was way cheaper than the TALO.

Talo's preceded the Magpul versions. They are stock threaded barrel guns with MBUS instead of the factory irons. The Magpul versions also include MOE stocks and grips. I think price difference is approximately $100.00, at least in my market.
