Talons installed on my Shield 👍

Update. Got an e-mail from Gillian at Talon is morning apologizing for the mix up. It was initially my fault anyway, having ordered the wrong ones, and e-mailing them about the change the next morning, which they hand wrote on the original invoice. They are sending me my rubber grips with a self addressed stamped envelope to return the wrong ones. If half the companies out there had this kind of customer service, the world would be a better place.

Good to hear , I had no doubt Talon would take are of you they have excellent CS .

I just put the rubber Talon Grips on my Shield a few days ago. Love them. Definitely fills in the grip where it needs to, in order to make it feel just right in the hand. Funny how such a thin material can change things up so much. I'll definitely get some for my 40c and I'm considering them for my FNX-45T.

It is amazing how Talons change the feel which is what makes them so addictive lol, but that's a good thing 😎 They just make the grip feel so planted and natural .

Just put the Talons on my shield today. I really like them. Only took 2 or 3 days to get them. Really quick.

Talon is a great company and have always had the same experience including , fast shipping , excellent communication and a quality product .

^^^^^^^^ What he said. Talon is an excellent product from a great company - good customer service and they do what they say they will do - a rare thing in todays business world.

I had my Shield less than a week before ordering the Talons, I love them, they did some great engineering to get them to fit right out of the envelope and no trimming.

I love my Talon grips for my Shield 9mm and I got the Granulate. I like the feel in the hand and it's not a problem to draw for me.

I've just installed a set on my Shield recently and loved them so much I bought another set for my Glock 42. I believe that I'll be installing Talon Grips on all my new purchases in the future.:)

Thanks guys for helping me spend more money. I read all this and ordered a set for my Shield 9 and my 15/22!

Your Welcome :D
Seriously after you install it and see how much better it feels you'll thank us again :D lol

So True I think I have them on 7 out of 8 of mine lol .

Same situation by me , I have a nice spot out in the woods to go to but the weather is getting cold . My indoor range I really like but expensive like most so I'm limited to my range time in the winter .

How do you think I must feel competing in IDPA matches on Saturday mornings? 2 so far this winter with a match scheduled for 12/28 and another on 1/3. Cold, but surprisingly not bad. I think because of the adrenaline rush.

Ive been considering the Talons for a while. its hot here in Fla and I carry IWB 90% of the time. No undershirt, just shorts and a t shirt.
Any experience with the Talons on bare skin? seems like theyd rub you raw?

I've been carrying my shield IWB at the 4:00 position with the rubber Talon grips and no undershirt for about a year now with no issues at all. I suppose if you had sensitive skin you may have a problem but normal skin you should be good to go.

I hear that lol but your right I remember a few years ago I had to qualify and it was snowing out . I was cold until we got started and then I was fine .

Talon Grips

Just put rubber Talon grips on my Shield 9. Fit great, easy to install, and feels awesome. I can't wait to get to the range tomorrow to try them out!

Your going to love them even more at the range !!

I used to have the rubber talons on my shield but the corners peeled up on me. It could have been a mistake I made during installation, but I went by the book and took my time. Anyway, I'm needing some more grip on my shield and I may give them another go. Undecided between the rubber and granulate this time though.
