Tannerite has been around for many years and I've seen videos on You tube of people blowing up things and frankly, I'm surprised it's still legal with some of the idiots having bad accidents with it. I've never been around any Tannerite in person but a friend just got some and it really is a lot of fun! He bought five pounds at Academy for about 35 bucks and just one pound makes a pretty good explosion, in my younger days I probably would have spent a good part of my weekly paycheck buying it. We blew up a beaver dam at our hunting lease and it sure is easier using it than tearing the dam down by hand and lots of folks around here were using it on the fourth of July. To think that people in some states can't even explode one firecracker.

Fun stuff. It can really launch containers too.....saw that on youtube :)

Gallon jug of tannerite taped to a five pound bag of flour and a lit road flare slightly downwind. Hypothetically of course.

Tannerite:D is the best redneck ant killer available. Push the open end of a half gallon whiskey jug into the fire ant mound, place a half pound container of tannerite atop the jug.

Do not approach the blast scene, ants are everywhere.
The entire bed will perish.... the deaf survivors cannot hear the Queens orders to relocate. :D:D

ETA: use plastic bottles only!:D

We were shooting in the desert and kept hearing ricochets. Someone was shooting towards us at the berm a couple hundred yards roughly behind us and we quickly found out why. BOOM!! Tannerite. :)
