The Kobun and Oyabun are hard to find these days, as they don't come up often.

Click to expand... The blade on many designs have more belly, aiding in draw cuts in my experience. Generally the blades I have seen are fairly thick and strong. The best I have seen are convex ground, giving a strong edge.
