Just bought a 627 Tracker. The price was more than right, for a brand new gun. Fit and finish is better than alot of S&W's Ive seen of late. Any of you guys have an opinion on these?

Just got a 4" .357 one of those. I'm converted to positive on Taurus since I bought wife a 6 shot 3" on basically a Jframe size. The Tracker impressed me as very easy to shoot - low recoil even with hefty 158 loads. I have positively compared it to several Smiths and for the price am convinced it is a better buy. Only flaw is the cheezy tape sight insert in the front. First time you clean the gun it will come off. Have ordered sight paint to permanently get an orange insert. Otherwise, it's well above its price would suggest.

I purchased one after getting an 856 and being impressed. The only thing I did with both was install Wolff hammer and trigger return springs.
Made a big difference but both are accurate and reliable.

I've had a 4" Tracker .44 magnum for a few years now. I admit that I haven't put a whole lot of rounds through it, maybe 200 full power and a bunch of .44 specials. It handles the recoil very well with the cool rubber grips and is just as accurate as any revolver I've ever had. And the sights are great.

I've got a GP100 6" for heavy loads. I was wanting this primarily for .38 +P+ and standard loads. Does it carry in a K-Frame holster well?

I have a Taurus M992 SS Tracker 9 shot, 22 LR & 22 WMR 6.5.”Same as the 627 except 22 caliber. Got it new about 9 years ago after reading a favorable review by the late Jeff Quinn on Gunblast.

I rather like this Taurus. It’s been an excellent revolver. Well made, accurate and reliable. Took many a rockchuck with it using the 22 mag cylinder. IMO opinion, I think it is every bit as good as the currently manufactured S&W revolvers.

Taurus seems to have greatly improved their Quality Control since they moved to Bainbridge Georgia as more recent examples of their firearms look spectacular.

I bought this Taurus PT92AFS back in March, and the fit/finish is nothing short of remarkable. This is honestly the second best-looking/functioning firearm that I own, beaten only by my H&K USP Elite, and seeing as it cost a mere $500, that's one heck of a value!

Keep in mind, this is just an ordinary, off the shelf PT92, not any Special Edition or anything like that.
