Taurus model 85

I had a model 85 with a canted barrel. Sent it back to Taurus and they sent me a new 856, no charge. Story was they had no parts. The new one appears to be a good replacement. Haven't had it to the range yet but really don't expect any issues. I don't carry it. I have a Sig TDA for that.

I picked up an 85 off the used-consignment shelf at one of my favorite LGS about a year or so ago. I don't shoot it a lot but I have been very happy with it and it has as very decent trigger on it.

I shot the gun with plus P rounds, the seam at the back of the grips bit the web of my hand. Replaced the plastic grips with Pachmayrs.
