S&W is often discontinuing pistols for a different version like ported was an option but today its all about optic ready . On the one your looking at came out some 4 years ago and might have been bought to be used in some run and gun match handgun. The trigger is the old style hinged trigger and some where nicely tuned and work well but if thats an issue the trigger alone is an easy upgrade . The price seems good if it comes with the box , cleaning kit at least 2 mags and extra inserts but I do wonder what a low round count to means .

I have a PC 5" ported 40sw version with a hinged trigger and all and its one of my few all stock pistols and a heck of a shooter .

Ask the buyer to remove the slide in front of you so you can look it over for a better idea of few round counts . If it is really nice buy it .

The claim !! Tell the guy you want to at least remove the slide recoil assembly and barrel to and easy inspection internally . It would be nice if you can shoot it with good ammo you supply of course but may not be practical . It is your choice to just buy it . Might be a best buy for you .

Wonder what happed to the cleaning kit as it came with one unless this guy is really a second owner and round count is higher ? I don't use the cleaning kit mine came with but I have it . Its up to you now , good luck .

The older PC M&P 2.0s appear to have been largely superseded by the aluminum frame Competitor models.

My understanding is that the 'PC tuned action' in the M&P pistols is a different trigger sear.

Good price or not depends on the value you place on having a black 5" 9mm (basic 5" black models were all LE SKUs), a nicer sear out of the box, and the fiber optic sights.

FWIW, KY Gun Co currently has these for $469.87+tax brand new, and it's eligible for the $75 rebate through August 19th.

Nice find.
Didn't know they were available for that price. Thought they were more.
Guess that is why this item has been viewed 500+ times and no one has jumped on it.

I bought two when they were $665 and shot in competition for 20K+ rounds with absolutely nothing to complain about. The rage in competition now is carry optics, which is the ONLY reason the iron-sight -only Pro is not selling. It is perfect for IDPA/SSP (stock service pistol) , but that's not the hot topic it once was. KYGUNCO sale for about $400 with rebate NEW is THE DEAL. You can win the same size trophy in SSR as you can in carry optics, if trophies are your goal.

Currently shown as "Notify me when available". :( Otherwise that is a great price. I picked up one of those 1.0 LE SKU guns that looked fresh from the rack in the armorers safe. I'm pretty certain it still had the factory light lube in it. Shame there was no box or accessories, but the price was right. ;)
