My Glock 42 won't feed Hornady Critical Defense ammo. I'm sure it would malfunction with those bullets. On the other hand, my CZ-83 eats everything.

Just goes to show, you never know until you try. My Glock 42's (one early, one from last year) like the Hornady stuff just fine.

JAG is the headstamp of Ammo, Inc. Technologies located in Scottsdale, Arizona. I had never heard of them before researching to reply to your post. I assume they are one of the quite new start-up ammunition companies of which there are several.

As said above, it does appear to be identical to ammunition sold under the G-2 Research brand, their R.I.P. line, or at least uses their bullet design. I would not place a lot of faith in their hype!

I have no comments about this specific load except if you are really curious then buy some and try it for function in your gun(s). This is prudent with any manufacturer's ammunition which you have not previously used in your gun, including well known major makers.


For future reference, if you find an un-familiar head stamp simply "google" it, in this case (JAGheadstamp) and you will find out the manufacturer that this headstamp belongs to.
