We used to get lots of snow in Tn and areas of the south. I have my Great Grandfather's diary's that starts about 1897 and covers in to the 1930's. He always recorded the weather and what he did that day and anything that was out of the ordinary. It was actually very common to have below zero temperature days recorded in northern TN and very common to have snow and ice from late Dec to early March.

So does that mean we get to switch from "Global Warming" back to "Another Ice Age is coming" like in the 1980's? :D:D:D

It used to be global cooling. Then they decided it was global warming. Now it's just climate change so you can be right even when you're wrong. And guess what? You can tax all of it.

I think one of the prettiest areas I have ever seen is the Ft. Oglethorpe/Chattanooga area. I was only there once when the Co. I worked for was installing the signage fo Hutchens Hospital. That was in Feb. of mid 80's I think.
