CHEER- I think I left my truck right CHEER. RANCH- Hand me that RANCH from the toolbox. DID- There's a DID possum under my truck. BARD- Joe Bob BARD my truck yesterday. RAT- He made a RAT turn on the wrong road. AWL-Today my truck needed two quarts of AWL. FAR- Tonight my truck just caught FAR.

Me personally - I ain't never heard anyone talk like that.

I believe that most of these "redneck terms", "Southern phrases" (and we can't forget that lovely little book that came out when the peanut farmer was in Washington, "How to Talk Southern"), were all dreamed up by Yankees trying to make us down here sound like morons.
