Water test using one gallon water jugs lined up front to back.

Recovered bullets diameter .630"
Recovered bullets weight 124.7 grains
The bullet was recovered literally stuck in the front of the 3rd jug.

Good pics, Lobo! That is the old standard pressure load, right? Your results are identical to what I got with that load. Some would criticize the penetration, but I won't stand in front of it!

I know the FBI requires 12" penetration after passing through car glass and plywood but most of us will never need to fire into a car to protect ourselves. That "old" Nyclad round is a great SD round. I carry it in my older J & K frame revolvers.

I should have put it in the original post, but this is the standard pressure load. It's pretty impressive for a non +P load fired from a snub.

Impressive...and great photos! Are those the original type Nyclads or the new version? I have some of the older ones...might need to load my 1947 Detective Special with them.
