Testing New 952-2

Got 2 buddies been Ransom Rest testing their 952's @ 50 yds with 115gr jacketed bullets . First guy told me best load he's found to date is 4.3grs BE , 115 Nosler JHP , Starline brass , Fed primer . Claims 1" groups @ 50yds . Stated when he used 115 Horn XTP groups opened to 2" . Claims no luck with Sierra nor Speer 115's . His gun is 5" , not a long slide . Second guy says his best is 5.0grs VVN340 or 6.0 Power Pistol with 115 Montana Gold or Zero 115 FMJ's . Seems velocity envelope is 1150 to 1300 fps for best accuracy .
Others I know shooting Berretta M9's & 1911's with KKM 1 in 32 twist barrels like the Sierra 115 FMJ with 4.8grs VVN 340 or 6.0 Power Pistol . 4.8 - 5.0 WSF also a good load . Most are using 1.120 OAL with .375 crimp .
One would think the faster twist barrels would shoot better with 125 to 147 gr bullets .

I'll let you know about the Performance Center response. The springs that were tucked under the base cushion weren't labelled. Didn't look different from the one in the pistol---see what they say.

Any recommendations for store bought ammunition? I'm looking for low recoil/velocity target use. Even if this is my I tended use, should I buy something else for break in period? Always thought that this was an excuse for bad fit.

I just bought a brand new model 952-2 and want to strip it before I shoot it the first time. No matter how I try I cannot even get the barrel out of the slide. It will move forward and back into battery in the dismounted slide but I cannot lift it out no matter how I twist turn or wiggle it. Any pointers?

Found a video on youtube with the trick. Also found that before you disassemble if you take a razor point sharpie marker and put some reference dots on the barrel, slide and bushing reassembly is a snap. When you are done the dots wipe off.
