I was browsing the Washington Post newspaper this morning and I saw this article concerning the upcoming movie being released this coming weekend.
I spent a lot of time in the desert fixing computers for the Army and I dealt with a lot of soldiers that we affected by what they went through.

Yes I have to deal with a lot as well.

No one comes home unchanged. The VA really pushes the PTSD every time I have contact with them,makes me think the problem is more widespread than I thought.

P.T.S.D. is THE MOST under diagnosed psychological issue of any kind. The largest population of folks with this condition are rape victims, followed by victims of other forms of abuse, accident victims, etc. Combat Veterans are a relatively small group in comparison.

The military is finally getting the point across that having PTSD is not a career ender. Maintaining the security clearance is still an issue so a lot of people keep their mouths shut, including your truly.
