First, I have to say that I have no affiliation with Ahrends.

I have a pair of Ahrends grips but I lost the little brass insert that the grip screw threads in to, so the grips were pretty much useless without the little insert.

I called Ahrends last week and explained my bonehead move and asked where I could purchase the small item. The kind gentleman on the phone,(didn't get his name, should have), mailed me both inserts and a new screw that I didn't even request,...all at no charge.

I know the items didn't cost much, but the simple gesture was awesome and landed a client / return customer. Just wanted to pass along the good word and big thanks to Ahrends.

I love the Ahrends website and it's refreshing to hear good reports on their customer service. Thanks for posting that.

DHart took the pictures for the website and years ago he was a regular forum participant who freely shared his knowledge of photography. I give him credit for every good picture I take and he opened my eyes to the coolness of L frames, 581s in particular.

I particularly like the Ahrends K frame retro round to square conversion grips. I'm not a big fan of round butt guns but these conversion grips make them feel like an old school sq butt.

I enjoyed doing business with these people as well. And the experience will bring me back to them for additional sets of stocks; which, not the least of which, are exceptional too.

And they are pretty too : )

I just picked up my first S&W revolver and wanted to dress it up a bit. I came across these Ahrends grips on ebay. They fit beautifully and look pretty good too : )
