Sophomore year with money from first job dad says sure ! Through a policeman friend this gets delivered about a week later.
A ridiculous number of rounds through it although I've not shot it in years, need to remedy that !

Wow - Quite the history! And, it brings back memories to see the Gil Hebard Guns receipt. I used to order his/their catalog every year going way back into the early-70's. I think I still have one of his catalogs where he lists/shows the S&W Model 76!

I sent a couple of Gil's kids to college over the years for what I spent there. Bought my first 41 and52 from him back in the day. 100# bags of tumbling media delivered, components, etc. if you were a shooter, and needed it,they had it!

The good old days, before Illinois became the anti-gun nightmare it is today.

Many fond memories from there and trips to Simpsons to ogle the Lugers.

Regards from the Commonwealth,
Rick Gibbs

Nice. I purchased a .357/9mm Blackhawk on my 21st birthday, 45 years ago. Looking at the holster, it appears that you are also "sinister" like I am. (Unless it is a cross draw.)

Very nice looking gun, and kit. Love the backstory, nothing like spending your hard earned money on the things you enjoy!

My 16 year old son got his first real job this summer. He bought himself a new fancy tennis racket… Oh well, I guess you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it….
