I have put off picking up an AR15 for too long. And with all the nonsense going on right now I wasn't about to over pay for something because of inflated prices either. I had zero intentions of buying anything right now. Well I'm on FB the other night and one of my buddies pings me.... "Hey I am going to sell my DTI15 it's been sitting in the box since I got it, I know you are into guns and figure you might know someone who would be interested" well you see how that went?

$900 for a DelTon DTI15 5.56 M4 Barrel Carbine optics ready, one steel 30 round mag, six brand new MagPul 30 Round Mags. All brandy spankin new.







Now all it needs is some "Stuff" :D

Thanks! I figured for the price I might as well snatch it up. Besides it helps my poor friend buy more parts for his brand spanking new Twin Turbo 5.0 Stang.... He needs suspension stuff now :) LOL

I'm nuts... I did it.. I finally did it.. I broke down today and ordered an Trijicon ACOG ECOS :) Optic that costs more than both the rifles? Sure why not! Can NOT wait to get my grubby paws on this thing! :)

Went with the Green Dual Illumination in FDE, couldn't pass up the price it was a few hundred cheaper than anywhere else.. (as if a few hundred matters when MSRP is 2 grand! LOL )

WOW!!

You did go all out. I always wanted an ACOG for my SCAR, but it takes my eyes too long to get the reticle in focus (even while wearing corrective lenses)

I demo'd a similar model in a box store and was impressed. But that's far from field use. I hope it works out for me as well. If not... Well at least they hold their value! :)
 
Yeah that's the problem with these things.. It's like having lego's around... You don't so much have "spare parts" as you have a "Future Rifle" :)
 
Got my tracking numbers today! Sure hope I get the ACOG by Friday :) Maybe I can even manage to get out to the range and get it sighted in and post up some photos!

Sweet!... My kids got me this for Fathers Day.




And now I have a lower to pick up at the FFL of Friday for build number 8 :D

BRD never stops... This time it's there fault :)
