The 38-44 box caught my eye

So I inquired about the box
Store owner stated he only took the stuff to help the guy get rid of it.

Said he gave the guy 10 bucks and if I wanted it I could have it for that.
I did but gave him 20.
Figured the Weatherby was worth that alone.

Some pretty good stuff in the box
I really liked the 45-70
A pretty big rimfire was in it too.

The 45-70 ammo is neat too. The rimfire cartridge looks like a 44 Henry but looks can be deceiving - measure it and get back with us. You scored big time. The rimfire cartridge alone might be worth what you paid.
 
The bullet diameter is right around .419
Here it is next to a 44 wcf gallery round.
At least that's what I think it is that was in the box also.

None of the boxes really look in collectible condition.

One atleast of the 45-70 boxes is blackpowder
