My last couple dogs were beagles. I used to do some rabbit hunting and they are great pets, they love every one. The only problem is if they are not restrained every second they will be gone chasing something. I can let my lab out and never worry about her leaving the yard.

Yes my boy Sammie love's his stuffed toy. Also he love's to follow his nose. I've got a shock collar for in the yard he learned the border's real quick.

We had one years ago,once he got on a scent there was no stopping him.That dog would get lost,give someone that sad look and get adopted for a few days until we tracked him down [emoji1]

This is my third not downing other breeds I think Beagles are one of a kind wouldn't consider any thing else

I've had 3 beagles and have a lab now. They have totally opposite personalitys. Beagles are mellow, Labs are crazy. Beagles don't like water. It's like a magnet to a lab. Mine will break ice to play in the water. If you take a bath you'd better make sure the bathroom door is closed.
Maybe if you sing him that famous Beagles song, "Let it Be" he will drop it......
