I absolutely love burgers! And I have to say, that burger looks deeelicious! Pass me a napkin, would you Chad? Need to wipe the drool off my chin! :p

wow looks awesome. I am a firm believer that a quality bun is what makes or breaks a burger. Too soft results in poor structural integrity. Too hard or dry and it makes it hard to chew. The meat is the easy thing to cook!

Great looking burger...

For the best commercially-made burger, you need to go to Miller's Bar, Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan. None better.

Dennis -- I work in Dearborn -- Millers is ok but too greasy and undercooked at times. Mr. Chad's burgers aren't commercially made but beat Millers any day.

Mrs. Chad;)

That burger looks delicious! The only thing I'd do differently is that if you make the burger on a gas or charcoal grill, cut the onion a bit thicker and coat it with a little vegetable oil, salt & pepper and put it on the grill as soon as it's screaming hot so it caramelizes a bit and gets some nice black grill marks on it....sloppy, but sooooooo good!

Mrs. Chad - Homemade is always better. Mrs. Dennis The B makes an awesome burger, either on the griddle or the grill.

I live in Dearborn, and worked for the Blue Oval for over 38 years. When they had a real chef in the employee DR at WHQ, he really whipped up a good burger.

I'm originally from Louisville, Ky. There were three spots there that had outstanding burgers - The original Jack Frye's, the old Leanna's Restaurant Moonburger, and Chex Cafe.

There was a restaurant there by the name of Kaelin's. They claimed, and were never refuted, to have created the cheeseburger, in the 1930's. They served a good one, too.

Dang, Chad, that's looks good.

FTR, I had exactly the same combo last night but had to sub Pepperidge Farms onion rolls and chose Michelob Light.

That homemade bun would surely beat the onion roll but just cannot drink Blue Moon.

Do hope you enjoyed your burger and beer(s) as much as I did mine.

Be safe.
