The Best Three Clint Eastwood Movies

Josey Wales
Dirty Harry
Mr Roberts :) (yeah, I know)

For a Naval movie with Clint--he was in: Away All Boats and for as many times as I have seen it--ive never spotted Clint yet. I THINK--he was a Medical Orderly??????

1.Unforgiven
Outlaw Josey Wales
Dirty Harry

2.Two Mules for Sister Sara
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
High Plains Drifter

3.Gran Torino
Pale Rider
Magnum Force
I did it my top three!:D

Cheater!!!! Heh heh, kidding only. :D :D

I'm shocked there are no votes for 'Bridges of Madison County'!

Ill be shot with admitting that ive never seen it. Same with his last few movies. Most new movies I dont see until I get them on DvD and ive spent too much on them this year. But, I can raise my debt limit a bit if need be? :D

CLINT EASTWOOD

Dirty Harry & Josey Wales, 1 & 2, many for #3 Grand torino, the unforgiven, Kelly's heroes, Joe Kidd, The good b&u...

I think Clint Eastwood's best movies are those he directed. I'd choose Mystic River and Letters from Iwo Jima as his best. The Outlaw Josey Wales was my favorite acting performance.

My most favorite CE movies are...

Paint Your Wagon

The Outlaw Josey Wales

Where Eagles Dare

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Kelly's Heroes

Unforgiven

As well I profoundly enjoyed the Rawhide series of T.V. shows.

No particular order:
Unforgiven
Gran Torino
Absolute Power

love many others so tough question!

All the ones mentioned are good. I can't think of the one Clint and Lee Marvin as partners in a gold mining town. It was a comedy musical.

That's "Paint Your Wagon." :)

Possibly the biggest claim to fame for the movie was the song "They Call the Wind Mariah" sung by Harve Presnell as Rotten Luck Willie. A much older Presnell played in my favorite hunting comedy movie, "Escanaba in da Moonlight." You probably have to be from Michigan to understand all the "truths" shown in this film.

They're always funnier if somebody else does them. If you're 12 sitting next to Mom, not so much.

I am not a fan of westerns in general so I'm goin with
Space Cowboys, The Eiger Sanction and Gran Torino.
I could add a ton more but you asked for 3!!

I'm surprised it took 30 posts for someone to come up with these three, but since then, several others have done the same:

1. Josey Wales. The execrable Sondra Locke notwithstanding, this has to be one of the most re-watchable movies of all time. I like the Forrest Carter books, too, but this is a rare case where the movie far surpasses the underlying books.

2. Unforgiven. "Deserve's got nothin' to do with it."

3. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. If there is a single spaghetti western that defines the genre, this is it. If there is a single moment that defines the movie, it is the climactic 3-way showdown at the end.

Million Dollar Baby is right up there, too.

I really like Clint Eastwood. I can not remember one bad movie from him.
Aldo I like the Dirty Harry films I prefer the westerns.

My top 3 are:

The Good, The Bad The Ugly. It is that good that I forgive the wrong period guns used in it. Come on a Galand from 1869 in the civil war?

Outlaw Josey Wales. The scene with the indian and the other one with the dog get spit are great.

Unforgiven. Strong actors in a Very Good movie.

I have a lot of of Clint's work on dvd, i love them all.

I'd go with...

The Outlaw Josey Wales
Unforgiven
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

With the runners up being

Dirty Harry
Kelly's Heroes
Pale Rider

EDIT: I see Marshwheeling beat me to this list!
