This a touching video of a young man who wanted to pay homage to the Americans who lost their lives on D-Day, 1944.

He came to Omaha Beach in Normandy, France 70 years after the invasion of Europe by the Allies, and what he did may bring tears to your eyes. It did to mine.

In these times of civil unrest, there are rays of hope. This is certainly one of them. Turn up the sound when you watch.

I'm glad it won't be supper time for a while. I will need some time for this lump in my throat to pass. That is the most powerful thing I've seen in some time. I couldn't help but think how proud the father of that young man must be of his son. I know some youngsters that could take a lesson from this fine young American.

Awesome. This is truly awesome. I needed this sign of hope for the youth of our nation. I know they're out there but it good to see this fine example of one. How proud his Dad must be.
I had the great opportunity to have visited and walked all five invasion beach's.

I think one of the reenactors in this may be my son. Very proud. He brought me back an M-1 clip from the beach. Worthy of great sympathy and admiration for those young men. Need more of them today in place of the whiney bunch we seem to have.
