"The Classics"

I know we all have a few classic Smith revolvers, I've seen lots of great pics and posts from all. Like most, I lock mine away in a safe. Wondering if any of you have them... on display in a way they deserve? I'm picturing a large wall display, lit in a way to highlight the perfect curves... Maybe organized by frame size... Anyone have a display like that?? Come on... let's see it.

I keep most of my Colt and S&W revolvers in two, large, velvet lined display cases, similar to what you see in gun shows, in my secure gun room.

Rifles and heavy weapons are mounted on grid wall.

Enjoy seeing them all on display that way. But, makes choosing which ones to take to the range very difficult. Decisions, decisions....

I have often thought about a gun display, but unfortunately the political climate together with the obvious risk of have them stolen has always gotten the better of me. If I lived in a different place things might be different, but in the extremely populated area where I live, I don't think it advisable to display valuable guns. Aside from which where I live the PD mandates that they be locked up, NOT displayed!

I suppose that's a better resting place than each gun in an old pair of your skivvies! Sidenote: My dad just donated a couple pair of his for rags in my gunshop...

In Kalifornistan they have to be secured. Don't know that I would display them anyway. People talk, and even if people in my home didn't steal them somebody they told might.

I don't really own anything display worthy anyway.

A friend of mine made me a rack that I move to my desk during the day and then back into the gun room at night. That way I can enjoy them all day. BTW, I do not leave the house without having them secure. This is the rack my friend made.

Used to have em displayed in a wall rack when I had a gun room.Kids came along and they went in a safe.Like that pistol display,may have to build one.
