THE DAY AFTER BREAKFAST???

For me biscuits, honey and a cup of tea.

Later on I'll split some yeast rolls, cover with dressing and turkey, add gravy, top with cranberry sauce and serve open face. Sweet potatoes on the side and either Brussels sprouts or green beans, whichever is left. Then a piece of pecan pie and I'm good

SLEPT IN TODAY.

The 2 cups of coffee @ 7pm so I'd be able to stay up & watch the Saints worked! Asleep >1:30 up @ 7:30. Breakfast MAY be ready by noon, Uncle Joe is moving kinda slow at the junction. :)

Coffee and oatmeal.

And then I’ll have to prepare myself for Round 2, the post-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner this afternoon, put on by friends who work in emergency services and were on duty yesterday.

Probably just coffee and no oatmeal tomorrow morning.

My wife baked some home made bannock yesterday to go with the rest of the spread.
All I had today was a coupla slices of bannock with sweet cream and honey and a cup of mango green tea.

IHOP (omelets) for Breakfast! For dinner, we just ordered Chinese take out. My wife said said "enough with washing dished tonight". That's fine with me because I'm Turkeyied out anyway. Aside from which it's cold as hell here and I want some Wonton soup! :)

The Kids were here since the beginning of the week and all she did was wash dishes and load / unload the dishwasher. They left this morning and she's pooped!

My wife made me a omelet with sharp cheddar, onions, hot peppers, kale, and broccoli. All vege as I am type 2 diabetic, but, which I am
diabetic med. free and control it with diet and moderate exercise.
Now for what we country boys call supper, left over turkey, sweet
potatoes, home made cranberry sauce, and salad.

Might be about a week or so before I feel like eating much of anything.

i love turkey n especially stuffing.
i'll be eating it for days before i freeze the rest.
the,n i'll make stock from the bones, that makes all sorts of recipes better.
i won't even look at rice that isn't made with stock.
very little waste with turkey.

A BUDDY FROM NOLA...

Cuz they are all good cooks it seems, taught me how to make demi glace. Basically just a longer boiled stock until it is VERY thick, then placed in plastic ice cube trays & frozen. It works great for Meyer lemon juice for iced tea or cocktails. Bon Appetite.

No leftovers--I cleaned the plate a neighbor brought me yesterday. Breakfast was Cream of Wheat with butter and dark brown sugar, which suited me fine.

Saymeege made of bread, cut up turkey, some dressing, and a healthy deposit of cranberry’s sauce atop!!! :D

oatmeal with cinnamon...2 scrambled eggs with tabasco.....coffee ..hot n black....

3 cups of coffee, couple of slices of bird, piece of pumpkin pie. Then set to making turkey rice soup. Had a bowl of that for lunch. Excellent! Saved just enough turkey and fixins for supper....then I'm done till Christmas!

today was 2 nice slices of good ole Greensboro Scrapple(crispy outside soft inside), cuppa joe, 2 eggs right from under a chicken and an emuff with homemade strawberry jam. Then off to an auction to buy a gun or so.
