Got some new grips from Altamont (their SMED-1) to replace the rubber that came with the used gun. I had a false start with another grip that wasn't suited to J-Magnum ejected cartridge clearance. Even these will stop one case, but it can be dropped by moving the cylinder. We'll see. Pretty grips though and very concealable. I am getting used to the smaller guns without a grip length for the pinky. That's okay until you are talking about 357 Magnum, which takes some practice.

Anyway, here's the pic:

Good looking little J-frame. The fleur de lis are a nice touch. My -10 still wears it's factory Uncle Mikes. They're the longer combat style, not the boots.

I like the revolver, and the grips. I have the set without the checkering that I need to put on something.

Yes, I have the rubber stashed now, and they did feel great but would have caused an issue with shirts hanging up and were long enough to poke out a bit.
