The end of the World 12/22/12... Whats Your Plan??

Well Guys... less than 3 weeks till the beginning of the end

Whats everyones plans....

I should have all my Brass prepped and Loaded....
I have a pool so PLENTY of water if needed
Could use some more Non-Perishable food
I will FOR SURE have a Full keg in my Keg-O-Rator

All the doomsday Shows and end of the world Documentaries are on so lots of ideas for us out there...

No bugout bags for me... ill stay put and protect what is mine with an AR in one hand and The keg TAP in the other..

My plan is to live like there will be a 12/23/2012, and 24, 25, and 26 etc...

I will still go to work, love my wife and kids, pay my bills, etc...

I have PREPED for a Katrina/Sandy type disaster, or an LA riots type incident. I'm not equipped to beat an End of the World scenario. Besides, there or some things, I don't think I want to live through.

I guess, I will load a couple extra mags and hit the package store (just because)

I am a lot like KarmannGhia I guess. It's a Saturday, so I won't be working. Probably just kick back and see what happens. I am prepped for the smaller things, but EOTW, no.

Then, wake up with a end of the world hangover, order a pizza, feel better.

Still awaiting what the 'disaster' is that will end the world...

I lean toward a major gamma ray / sunflare hitting the other side of the world followed by panic, earthquakes and tsunamis as the week unfolds.

I think it was edgar cayce that had a vision of the earth after the catclysm, as in what's flooded and what's not, etc. Good news...maybe...I live in a place that won't be eradicated by a flood. So therefore I don't need my canoe but do need to fortify my house and clean my guns.

Honestly, more water would be nice, more food definitely and some way to purify water/cook food. If things don't go all violent I have a self contained camper...a bit of propane and i'm good, can use my 3 cars and tractor and whatever gas I have to keep the batt charged, can dump into my septic system. I can collect rain water (3 buildings w/ gutters).

But if I have to hide in my basement...it won't be nearly so 'fun' as camping (with one eye open).

I intend to offer 25 cents on the dollar to any true believer who wants to sell his pre-war S&Ws for money to party before the end comes. We are talking about TEOTW here, not the end of civilization or the Zombie Apocalypse or the re-election of Obama. If you really believe, you expect to be extinct on 12/22 and neither guns nor money will do you any good.

Everybody else is just looking for an excuse to stockpile ammo and buy a black rifle.
