Have we done a kitgun picture thread anytime recently? I want to see some pre 1950 kitguns especially, but regardless of what you have post a picture.
I currently have only 2, first a 98% Model 34 2" with a set of the Executioner's stags on it along with a Tyler T grip, and then this rare kit gun: a 1958 Model 43, nickel. This gun is on my "to" list for a letter this fall. Like all 43s it has a 3.5 inch barrel instead of the 4", the cylinder is aluminum, and it is the only airweight model not rollmarked with "airweight" on the barrel. There are not many 43s finished in Nickel, the same as the pre 43. One day I went into KTP in Kittery to pick up a gun I had on layaway, and I got there when they opened. You can put a gun on hold for 7 days there without any money on it, but they will put it back in the case after a week. This gun was the single "pull" from the morning's expired holds, and when I saw the $375 price tag I just about died. It never made it back into the display case. I wonder who it was that lost out on it, or if they had any idea how rare a Nickel 43 is....

I like shooting CBs in this little gun, but I probably ought to retire it or trade if off soon.

That nickel 43 is special. One of those once in a lifetime finds.

These are my 22/32s ,as the group stands today.
