Absent Comrade
My wife came home with the flu two weeks ago. Now I have it, it's no fun but the home made chicken soup is great. I hope it goes away soon.
Italian mothers (and wives) too.Chicken soup? It couldn't hurt.
Actually it contains chemicals that have been shown in medical research studies to be beneficial to cold and flu sufferers. And anyway, hundreds of years of Jewish mothers can't be wrong.
Some "old wives' tales" arose because the old wives were pretty damn smart.

Put it on the soles of your feet or under your armpits-it's the camphor that you breath in that helps clear your lungs. Mom used to rub it on our chest when we were little.Interesting! I never heard about salve on the soles of the feet before. If I dont straighten up by bed time I will give it a shot. Thanks!
I had a stomach bug a few weeks back and gave serious thought to putting a television in the bathroom. It was the only place where I was able to sit for any length of time. I believe they call it "riding the porcelain bus".

The tv in the bathroom does sound good with a phone. I always hear the phone ring when im busy.
