You've seen the ads,not as much as you use to.I've been wanting one for quite awhile.Picked up a deluxe model for $10:00 at a thrift store month or so back.I love it,cooks every thing fast.It does seem the bottom cooks faster than the top,but no problem flipping.

I use it now insted my stove to fry burgers, bacon, sausage etc.And it easily cleans up. anyone else have a comment about George??

We have 2, the large one for parties and the smaller for just the wife and I. Very satisfied. And speaking of things that work, we have a "Salad Shooter" that we use for slicing cukes. We make dozens of quarts of Bread and Butter Pickles each summer and this machine slices them just right, in seconds.

I guess I will be the lone dissenter, so far. I have never seen a piece of meat cooked on those things that was not ruined.

I was given one. Mine has no adjustments. It cooks way too hot and way too fast. I suppose they might be used to cook bacon, sausage, maybe hamburgers, or other fat-laden meat, but subjecting any decent piece of meat to them should be considered a minor misdemeanor. :)

I have two, a small one I bought at Walgreens to cook some venison, and a larger one I got from my aunt's house in Chicago when my cousin had to put her in a nursing home.

Before I got them, ALL of my "cooking" was in the microwave. Now, anything like chicken, beef, pork or fish goes on the George Foreman.

I utterly LOATHE cooking. Anything that makes it less of a chore is a good thing. My kitchen is a pit with a single sink and no dishwasher. The removable grill plates take a lot of the agony out of having to clean up.

I have a small one with no adjustments and a large one with temperature control.

I don't use the one without temperature control anymore.

As stated above, I HATE cooking and am virtually GUARANTEED to ruin anything that has to go in a skillet, apart from canned corn beef hash... and that's iffy.

I'd rather be a FELON than use the stove for anything besides boiling water for tea or ramen.

I threw my stove out after the great pizza fire of '06. I use small appliances now for everything. I've had a a couple Foremans with non removable grills and no temp control. That type tends to overcook everything. I got a GE grill that you can remove the grills and temp control. I fill the freezer with chicken breasts when they're on sale. Skinless goes on the GE, breasts with bone in go in a covered electric fry pan. A good investment is a digital meat thermometer. I've got an electric hot pot to boil water for pasta, and a host of microwave cooking stuff. I've got a good size toaster oven that I can cook a pizza or whole chicken in on rare occasions. About all I can't cook with all this junk is a turkey.

I had one but my wife threw it out - said I didn't need no fried food now that I had her to cook for me. Haven't missed it since.

I have a similar product made by Sunbeam with removable grill plates. Great for steaks, chicken and fish. Bacon is a breeze with no splatter. Love it.

I have two as well. An older one and a newer one with removable grates. Mr. Foreman used to live in my area and used to see him frequently. He is a gentleman.

No, if I'm going to eat something fried I don't want to be cheated out of any fat. (c'mon you KNOW thats why fried stuff tastes so good)

We got one of the big ones at a thrift store also, I got the stand from some place in Texas by using Amazon and it puts it up where you can use and roll it around, the stand was about 22 dollars with shipping if I remember correctly, so I have a nice grill and stand for 32.00. Jeff

Be advised, henceforth, I'll being ignoring your dinner party invitations...

My wife uses one. I like whatever she cooks in it or anything else.
I am a big George Foreman fan. If it wasn't for the rope a dope thing, he would have won that Thrilla in Manilla fight.
George was an unbelievable fighter.

We've had a couple of them. I bought one for Missus P&R Fan several years ago as a present. DISCLAIMER: Women do NOT like presents that are used to make your dinner!
That said, I used it quite a bit. Works great for pork chops, and tilapia filets cook in just a few minutes, and taste great. Only thing that doesn't taste good cooked on them is steak for some reason. The pork and fish go on frozen solid, and cook very quickly. George done good with this one.
Oh, we have a running joke about it. The lovely (Blond) Mrs. Fan originally called it the "Mike Tyson Grill". She knows NOTHING about sports. Dang good thing she's a looker.

I cooked a steak with one the day before Christmas and plan to do another one today. It tasted just fine to me. But the less interaction I have with food, the better it's likely to taste.
